Product introduction
The biomass burner sends the fuel into the top hopper through a belt conveyor. Then fuel enters the furnace through a closed feeder and are evenly distributed on the grate. The fuel thickness is between 150-350mm. The biomass fuel is preheated and dried on the grate, and then enters the high-temperature oxidation zone to crack out combustible gases such as CO, H2, and CnHn. Part of the combustible gas is burned in the furnace, and the other part is output to the burner and then burned with oxygen for a second time to form a semi-gasification compound and complete combustion.
The burned ash will continuely pushed out of the burner by moving grate and discharged by ash removal machine.

Case study
After the discussion, customer is an Indian boiler manufacturer with paper mill customer resources. The paper mill customer's production materials include BOPP (polypropylene) waste, which contains 5% waste paper. Customer wants to purchase a solid waste gasifier to heat a 20 ton boiler. The product of polypropylene after full combustion is carbon dioxide and water. The combustion equation is: 2 (C3H6) n + 9no2 ----- 6nco2 + 6nh2o. The temperature of melting section is 240 ℃, and the decomposition temperature is more than 350 ℃, which is higher than its decomposition temperature for combustion. No blocks resulting in plugging of pipeline and heat storage. The heat value is 11671 kcal / kg. It shows that a 20 ton boiler needs to burn more than 1 ton / hour of polypropylene waste. In order to prevent the air cap of droplet blockage caused by low temperature dissolution of waste into the gasifier, it is designed to mix wood chips to burn to solve the problem .

(1) What are the design parameters of the machine?
The type, calorific value and density of fuel, air supply volume , combustion temperature, exhaust gas volume, exhaust gas combustion residence time, etc.
(2) What are the merits and demerits of the machine?
Merits:
A: The solid waste is pyrolyzed, gasified and combusted under anoxic condition, so the amount of dust is very little which greatly eases the exhaust gas treatment.
B: Unique gasification and combustion process, adopting high-temperature gasification pyrolysis and precise air supply volume control system, without secondary harmful gas pollution, can reach the specified exhaust gas standard.
C: Adopt advanced rotating grate and suspension combustion technology to avoid caking and slagging.
D: When the calorific value of solid waste is more than 2400 kcal, no additional fuel is needed for burning, and the temperature of burning chamber is more than 1000 ℃.
