DIRECTION FOR USE

 

1.Feed in raw material

1) Metal must be dried before it is added.crucible
2) When feeding should be gently put down, do not throw metal ingots into or into the crucible, so as not to damage the crucible.
3)The metal ingot shall be placed vertically into the crucible, and sufficient expansion space shall be the metalingot and the crucible wall. Do not place the metal ingot in the crucible horizontally, expansion of metal ingots after heating to expand the crucible.
4) Some small pieces of metal can be added to the crucible first, which can be used as the cushion of the large ingot material.
5) Continuous melting elbow, some metal solution can be retained in the crucible to speed up the melting.
However. it is necessary to avoid adding large metal materials to a small amount of solution, so as not to cool or solidify the solution suddenly, thus damaging the crucible.
6) When adding liquid metal, to avoid overfiling, generally do not exceed 80%of the crucible capacity.
 
2.Use of additives
In the use of additives, must strictly follow the instructions for the use of additives to operate.
1) Additives can only be put after the metal material is completely dissolved. Do not put additives in empty crucible or solid metal material, or make additives directly contact the crucible wall or outer edge ,otherwise it will directly damage the crucible.
2) In the use of additives, must be strictly in accordance with the prescribed dosage to add, excessive use of additives will greatly shorten the service life of the crucible.
3) Please use only high quality additives. add no more than 2%.
 
3.Use of crucible clamp
1) The size of the crucible forceps must match the size and shape of the crucible and must not squeeze the upper edge of the crucible so as not to damage the crucible or cause a safety accident.
2) The crucible clamp shall be clamped in the middle and lower part of the crucible it is easy to fall off or break the crucible if it is too close to the top.
3) When using crucible clamp to move hot crucible, the crucible should be placed on high temperature resistant plate or transfer tool, and the hot crucible should not be placed on the surface of cool object, so as not to cause damage to the bottom of the crucible.

 

4.Pouring

When using the crucible for pouring, it should be caried out strictly in accordance with the operation specifications to avoid damage to the crucible.
1) When the metal solution reaches the predetermined casting temperature, the pouring should be carried out as soon as possible after slag removal and gas removal.
2)When pouring , should not continue heating, so as not to cause inspiratory, resulting in metal burning damage,at the same time will make the crucible wall corrosion uneven, thus reducing the crucible service life.
3)When using a rotary crucible furnace, the crucible should be restored to its original position after one pouring operation has been completed.
4)The metal solution should not be kept in the crucible for too long time, otherwise it will shorten the service life of the crucible, and the mass of the metal will be melted in the matrix low.
