What we used is high purity, three high ,fine grain graphite material, (moulded through big press machine, the graphite will be pressed more compact,lower porosity rate,so the oxidation resistance will be better).

Our crucible moulds are made of quality graphite, with good thermal conductivity, which can well shorten the melting time and save energy, can withstand 2000 degree Celsius, resistant to corrosion and compression, flexible and durable, not easy to break or deform, can serve you for long time.

HOW TO WON FOR BEST PERFORMANCE
During the use of the crucible, if the following matters can be followed, the best performance of theintained and the service life of the crucible can be effectively extended.
1. For different melting metals, crucible for corresponding design purposes should be selected.3-2

 

2. When heating the crucible, note the following:

   (1). Preheat the new crucible as specified to remove moisture in the crucible.
   (2). Heat the outer surface of the crucible evenly when heated.
   (3). Use the crucible furnace cover to seal the top of the crucible to reduce heat loss and oxidation of the crucible. But leave enough expansion space to avoid pressing tightly along the crucible.
   (4). When using a gas or fuel crucible furnace, use a slightly oxidized flame and avoid direct flame injection at the bottom of the crucible.
   (5). When adding additives, the metal solution should be stirred immediately and the slag on the crucible should be removed in time. When adding flake or bulk additives, use a bell cover to immerse them.
 
3. In the pouring process, avoid crucible clamp, ladle and other tools collision or knock crucible.
 
4. When cleaning the crucible, use special tools matching the crucible to clean while it is hot.
 
5. When the crucible is temporarily suspended, the following matters shall be noted:
   (1).If gas or gas-burning furnace is used, all fans should be closed so as not to cause oxidation or even rupture caused by cold air invading the outside of the crucible.
   (2).Make the crucible self-cooled to room temperature. accelerating or delaying the rate of self-cooling may increase the oxidation of the crucible or lead to the rupture of the crucible.
   (3).For the crucible which is not often used, it should be stored in a fixed area and keep the storage environment dry.
 
6. The use condition of crucible furnace should be checked frequently to ensure that the crucible furnace works normally. The slag on the inner lining of the crucible furnace should be cleaned in time.
 
7. lf the customer stops the furnace for more than 3 days, it is necessary to re-bake the crucible as if using a new crucible. lf the weather humidity is too high, the furnace body and crucible must be seriously dampened, must first put the crucible baking furnace body for 2 hours, and then put the crucible into the furnace body to bake again like a new crucible.
