Biomass Heating Value of Biomass Pyrolysis
What’s biomass heating value?
It is also called calorific value. In fuel chemistry, an important indicator of fuel quality. The heat emitted by the complete combustion of fuel per unit mass (or volume). Usually measured by calorimeter or calculated by fuel analysis results. There are two types, high calorific value and low calorific value. The former is the total amount of combustion heat of fuel and condensation heat of water vapor, that is, the total heat released when the fuel is completely burned. The latter is only the heat of combustion of fuel, that is, the difference of the total heat minus the heat of condensation.
What’s biomass Pyrolysis?
Biomass pyrolysis is a process of the burning of biomass fuel at high temperature. Burning to produce combustible smoke, such as CH4, CO, H, etc. by biomass fuel in a certain environment. The combustible material accounts for about 80% of the biomass fuel composition.
