Firstly, the calorific value of biomass fuel is relatively lower than that of coal. It is difficult to satisfy the steam quantity of generating units by simply burning biomass.
Secondly, the relative density of biomass fuels is low, so it is necessary to provide higher storage sites and transport pressures on the basis of calorific value planning, which will increase the transport cost in the actual application process.
Thirdly, the promotion and application of biomass is still in the primary stage, so the effect of industrial cluster is relatively low. The regional loose distribution of value straw in the transportation process makes the cost of biomass fuel higher.
Fourthly, biomass fuels have relatively high storage requirements, and need to consider waterproof, moisture-proof, fire prevention and other factors at the same time, so there are some disadvantages in site cost and management cost.
Fifthly, the existing power plant boilers have relatively low support for biomass fuels. Large-scale transformation is needed to achieve the application of biomass fuels. This part of one-time investment cost is also an objective constraint in the actual promotion and application process.
