How the aluminum casting ingot production line works?
The aluminum liquid from the aluminum furnace enters the aluminum liquid diverter through the flow control valve device and the chute. The flow of the flow control valve matches the speed of the casting line to ensure that each aluminum ingot mold on the ingot line is evenly filled with aluminum liquid. After the aluminum ingot is cooled by water sprayer, the aluminum ingots are dropped off by mechanical demolding hammer.

The main advantages of aluminum casting ingot production line
1. Small size but with good cooling effect
For the convenience of container loading, our ingot line is only 11.5 meters long, but the output can reach 3-5 tons / hour. As the length of ingot line is relatively short, the following measures are taken to ensure its cooling rate.
(1) Slow down the running speed of the ingot line. It is estimated that the casting time of an aluminum ingot is about 5-6 seconds.
(2) After hardening, the aluminum ingot will be cooled rapidly by spraying.
(3) After demoulding, spray water at the bottom of the mould to reduce the temperature before casting.
2. Stable operation, 24-hour continuous operation
In order to ensure the stable operation of the ingot production line, frequency conversion motor and double-stage hard tooth cycloid pin reducer are adopted to make the speed regulation flexible and smooth, the power output stable and no shaking. It can run 24 hours and 365 days continuously.
3. Longer service life
Transmission gear and chain accessories are made of 45 # steel. After hardening process, all parts are wear-resistant and have long service life.
4. High quality, 100% demoulding rate
The mold is resin sand casting, with smooth surface, uniform appearance, easy demoulding and reducing the labor intensity of operators.

Q&A
(1) Can the ingot casting line 24 hours continually run ?
Yes, it can run without shutdown for 365 days. Half of the molten aluminum is conveyed to the holding furnace and half is left in the melting furnace.
(2) Does it need a ash separator?
Small output can not be used, aluminum slag directly sold, but also related to the purity of raw materials. If the aluminum purity of the raw material is 77-85%, it is necessary to use the ash separator to reuse the aluminum slag .
(3) Can aluminum ingot be taken directly from the ingot line? Or does it take time to cool down?
No need to wait, it can be taken out directly. A section of conveyor belt is equipped at the place where the ingot is dropped.
If the ingot line is too short and the cooling time is not enough, it can be cooled by spraying water, which will not affect the shape and quality.
