2.4 MKcal (4 TPH/ 4200 KW) biomass wood chip burner for crucible heating in Egypt steel plant

Customer site situation

There are 12 gas burners for crucible heating, the required heating temperature is 1200 ℃.Customer want to save the fuel cost. Wood chips cost cheaper than gas in local.

Greenvinci solution

 We make economic analysis for the customer and found that it would save about 50% fuel cost by using wood chips. But the highest temperature our burner can reach is 1000 ℃, so we have to make another proposal. After discuss with our engineer and customers, we make a conclusion that is to replace 4 of the 12 gas burners but not all. There is still a 20% cost saving. Finally, the proposal have been adopted and the temperature and flame can meet customer’s demand, and save money also

Product Introduction

1.Conveyor belt：Run in linkage with the feeding device to form a time-sharing automatic feeding system.

2.Biomass gasification burner：the main body that converts biomass fuel into thermal energy (flame) output. It is composed of high temperature cracking furnace, oxygen supply system, double-layer sealing feeding device, automatic slag discharge system (optional), combustion burner and electric control system. 

3.Converter: If limited by the site, when the nozzle needs to be turned,the converter need to be configured.

4.Boiler：Biomass gasification burner can be adapted to the boiler in use or configured a new boiler, suitable for gas, biomass steam and thermal oil boilers.

5.Energy saver：Reduce exhaust gas temperature and increase thermal efficiency。

6 & 7: Exhaust gas treatment facility, According to different environmental discharges, configure corresponding dust removal facilities.
